Qualification Structure
Ontario is home to the largest Ethics Bowl in Canada. With over nine regional locations, 500+ participating students yearly, and over 75% representation of the Student Department, Ontario is thriving on the Ethics Bowl stage. Advancing through Ontario's qualification system is difficult, but rewarding. The winning team from each regional will go on to compete at the Ontario Championship (OC), the largest and most competitive provincial in Canada. The winners of the OC will automatically qualify for the National Championships which will be hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba in April 2026.

Ontario Championships
The University of Toronto, Mississauga, hosts the Ontario Championship (OC), the largest provincial ethics bowl in Canada. In 2026, the OC will be held on Saturday March 7th and Sunday March 8th.
Attending the OC is a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience. Surrounded by world-class facilities and Ontario's finest judges, students compete for provincial glory among the best-of-the-best.

Regional Locations
Teams must first qualify through one of our regional events in order to attend the Ontario Championships. The Ethics Bowl is proud to host regional tournaments in a variety of cities across Ontario. Choose the one closest to your school.
